![]() ![]() Good luck, I have found that once I learned the right combos, there is no real disadvantage to using a one-button mouse on a mac – it’s still faster than using max or maya on a pc. Here, I’ve swapped left command and option. I have foam pad that I put on my lap to use a scroll-wheel mous while watching TV. You may need to switch to one-button mouse in the preferences, I don’t remember – I switch off between the trackpad and a three button mouse quite freely without switching preferences. Here are some useful key combinations for on-button mice and trackpads:Ĭommand-click = right click / selecting vertsĬommand-shift-click = selecting multiple thingsĬlick = accepting whatever transform you are doingįn-all the little numbers and symbols over on the right side of the keyboard 7 8 9 u i o p j k l etc.= keypad commands like zoom in and out switching to views like front and side Also the fn key just to the left of ctrl is useful in accessing the keypad keys without using the numlock key. Most of the key combinations are based off of ctrl and alt/option and I think that the only thing the command key does is for emulating the RMB. ![]() I wouldn’t necessarily want to change the function of the buttons because all the commands that say “ctrl” in the menus actually use the ctrl key on the Mac. To view this in Photoshop, select Edit > Keyboard Shortcuts or use the following keyboard shortcuts: Alt + Shift + Control + K (Win) Option + Shift + Command + K (Mac) On newer MacBook Pro models, the Touch Bar replaces the function keys on top of the keyboard. I have the same setup as you I think and work in Blender everyday on the train without a mouse at all.
